Student run Literary and art magazine that is annually published. All of the work included is student work including Poetry, prose and art. All artwork and writing is chosen through a blind review process based on skill, craft, creativity, and impact.
Environmental Typography Book Design
Photos were taken from a specific block on Cass Street in Tampa, FL. The challenge was to create a book with emphasis on the typographic messages found in the images. I captured the major and minor details of the street creating composition that reflected the essence of the street.
The Chronicles of Narnia Book Cover Modern Redesign
The books included are "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", "Prince Caspian", and "The Voyage of The Dawn Treader".
Firstly, I chose a color palette that was reminiscent of the land of Narnia. The values consist of traditionality, friendliness, and fantasy. This is where I drew inspiration for the yellow, orange, and red. Secondly, I designed the lion to be spread across all the book covers because it is a recurring symbol.
Beyond College Access
Client Specifications: Design a book cover featuring custom bold illustration highlighting diversity among graduates
The brand colors of Beyond College Access consist of multiple blue hues. I incorporated yellow into the brand and utilized this color in this published book cover. This color introduced an optimism to the brand in contrast to the educational blue colors. The cover features different races of college graduates looking toward the future which directly embodies the mission of BCA.

Type Specimen Book Design
Franklin Gothic is the typeface of the book. Morris Fuller Benton created the Franklin Gothic typeface. He was a designer from Wisconsin. I used dairy product imagery in order to populate the pages of my book.
